The Magna Carta, Stonehenge & An 123m Spire

The medieval cathedral city of Salisbury is definitely worth a visit while you are there. It is only 9 miles from Stonehenge, which stands majestically on Salisbury Plain.

The 13th century cathedral is a landmark in Salisbury not merely for its 123m spire and working 14th century block, but also the fact that it is home to the original copy of the Magna Carta, a key official document dating from 1215 A.D.
