Anglo-Portuguese School Plans To Open Its Doors in Sept 2017

After an open call back in February 2016 for support, the Anglo-Portuguese School of London has since submitted their application to the Department of Education (DfE) for approval. The application included details regarding the proposed curriculum, questions about parental demand, the school’s ethos and the proposed team as well as their capabilities. The plan location for the school is in South West London.

The school will have a capacity for 60 students. The first round of students will be entered Reception level and consequently the following year another 60 students will be enrolled. At full capacity, the school will have 420 students enrolled.

A Bilingual Programme

The school with nurture both Portuguese and English language skills to literary proficiency, aiding their students to integrate successfully into the British working climate. The school encourage both English and Portuguese language learning to an equal degree regardless of heritage or creed.

The school is now waiting to hear back if they have been shortlisted for an interview by the DfE which will give the directors the opportunity to discuss their business proposal in depth.
